It finally rained

A hopeless rain woke me up again

I hope it rains

Do you ever feel like everything is wrong when in fact it is not but you just can't help it?

......No? But tell me about it.

When my brother first got me marshmallows I gave them back because it looked like he'd painted cotton and wrapped it. I hated it.

And when I first got into an accident and almost broke my nose when I was running after him, I craved the taste of the same marshmallows...white blue and yellow strands twisted around each other like the knots in my throat everyday now. 

I come around to love the things I once hated.

I hope it rains

No, I wouldn't want you to feel all sticky and horrible. But if it makes you want me beside you....

My roommate gives me a marshmallow these days. My nose hurts every time I eat it. White, like the moon and its tides

Yellow, like how I feel when you smile

Blue, like the color of my insides.

I hope it rains. 

And I'll tell you all about how everything is right but it feels wrong and how I hated you when I first met you.
